"Game of Thrones" concorre a 24 categorias do prêmio Emmy da TV americana

O drama fantástico "Game of Thrones" lidera as indicações para o Emmy, prêmio máximo da televisão norte-americana, anunciadas nesta quinta-feira (16). A série da HBO concorre em 24 categorias.A entrega dos prêmios acontece dia 20 de setembro.

As indicações de "Game of Thrones" incluem melhor série dramática, em que vai disputar com "Better Call Saul," "Downton Abbey," "Homeland," "House of Cards," "Orange is the New Black" e "Mad Men." "American Horror: Freak Show" foi o segundo com maior número de indicações -19. Em seguida, vem  "Olive Kitteridge", com 13.

A série cult retrô "Mad Men" também marcou presença nas indicações, com sua temporada final da história de uma agência de publicidade criada nos anos 1960 em Manhattan.

Na categoria melhor série cômica aparecem "Louie," "Modern Family," "Parks and Recreation," "Silicon Valley," "Transparent," "Veep" e "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt."

O Emmy 2015 terá como mestre de cerimônias Andy Samberg.
